Your living room.
Their sold‑out show.
Side Door connects independent musicians with people willing to open their space for a night — living rooms, backyards, bookshops, breweries. Real seats, real sound, no thousand‑capacity room required.
Currently opening access city by city — no card required to join the list.
Two kinds of people make a show happen. We just introduce them.
Bring your set to a room that's actually listening
Skip the opener slot and the empty Tuesday bar show. Play to people who showed up on purpose, in a space that was chosen for the music.
- Set your own suggested door price
- Keep your guest list and set list in your control
- Reach hosts already curating your kind of night
Turn your space into a venue for one night
You don't need a stage or a liquor license to host a great show — you need a room, some chairs, and someone worth listening to.
- Browse artists by genre, size, and travel radius
- Set the guest count your space can actually hold
- Handle the guest list and check-in from one page
The front door is booked out for months. The side door isn't.
Most independent artists lose money on tour before they lose their voice — vans, empty rooms, splits that don't cover gas. Side Door exists for the shows that happen in between the "real" venues.
Every artist is reviewed
Hosts open their homes to strangers. We take that seriously — every artist profile goes through a review before it's visible in search.
A door price, not a tip jar
Guests reserve a seat and pay a set price to get in — the same as any ticketed show, just for a room that seats forty instead of four hundred.
Matched by size and sound
An acoustic duo and a five-piece band don't need the same room. We match on genre, headcount, and how loud the neighbors can handle.
The best show I ever played had forty people in a converted garage, and I could hear someone's ice cubes settle in their glass between songs. That's the room we're building this for.
